Our Approach
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based, time-limited, and skills-oriented treatment with robust research demonstrating efficacy across a wide range of psychological disorders. Treatment is collaborative, with an emphasis on meeting goals and creating meaningful change.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a specialized form of CBT and a first-line treatment for OCD. Treatment involves gradually facing feared thoughts, feelings, or situations while reducing compulsions, reassurance seeking, and avoidance.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) teaches practical skills for managing intense emotions, tolerating distress, and responding more effectively to difficult situations. DBT strategies can be integrated into treatment to help clients build more adaptive ways of coping.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps clients develop greater flexibility in responding to difficult thoughts and feelings. Treatment focuses on reducing struggle with internal experiences while taking meaningful action in line with personal values.
Comprehensive Behavioral Treatment (ComB)
Comprehensive Behavioral Treatment (ComB) is an individualized approach for body-focused repetitive behaviors such as hair pulling and skin picking. Treatment identifies the factors that trigger and maintain these behaviors and develops targeted strategies for change.
